Applications
We do encourage families to complete the Application for Educational Benefits. Qualifying families may then receive benefits such as reduced activity fees, help with education expenses and some discounts. Please note that students who receive Medicaid or Medicare benefits are automatically enrolled. Start the process by creating your account at www.schoolcafe.com/register.
Special Diets
If your child has dietary restrictions (such as a peanut or gluten allergy), please contact your child’s school nurse so that an Individualized Health Plan (IHP) can be developed and implemented.
If your child requires a special diet, based on their disability, please fill out the “Special Diet Statement”. This form will need to be signed by a physician. If a child has been determined by a physician to have a disability and the disability prevents the child from participating in the meal service, modifications or substitutions can be made as prescribed by the physician at no additional charge to the student.
Lactose-free milk is available at each school and does not require the Special Diet Form. Instead, a written note from the child’s guardian/parent will suffice.
